Create a free accountFrequently asked questions
- Is this G702 / G703 generator really free?
- Yes. You can fill out the form and print or save a complete AIA-style G702 and G703 to PDF without creating an account or paying anything.
- Is this the official AIA document?
- No. DrawFort produces AIA-style forms that are functionally equivalent to the G702 and G703. They are not the official AIA documents and DrawFort is not affiliated with or endorsed by The American Institute of Architects.
- How does it calculate retainage and the payment due?
- It uses the same calculation engine as the full DrawFort app. Retainage is withheld on completed work (Columns D+E) and, if you choose, on stored materials (Column F). Current payment due is total earned less retainage, minus what was certified on previous applications.
- What goes in Column D vs. Column E?
- Column D is work completed in previous applications (everything billed before this period). Column E is the work completed during this billing period only. Stored materials go in Column F and are tracked separately.
- Can I track this across multiple billing periods?
- This free tool starts fresh each time. A free DrawFort account carries your schedule of values forward automatically so Column D fills itself, retainage accrues across periods, and each draw is one click.
